I was going to preorder the new COD, but, just yesterday I found out: 1. There will be no dedicated servers, the entire system will use p2p, in a new system called IW.NET matchmaking (Battle.NET anyone?). WHMT 20K GAME TOURNAMENT

This will be the definitive thread for organizing this.

We should at least play Halo 1 and ODST. I don't know if I'll have ODST by this weekend, so I propose that we do Halo 1 then. We can play some of the PC version (so Ahr2nd and other people who don't have it for mac can play), and then the mac version (so we can play mods we've made).

As for the mods, we should play some Ragnarok and a few of the maps I converted... any other ideas?

The new DLC is coming out August 3rd... what do you guys think about it? It looks pretty cool, but I don't know it it will fit well with the rest of the game... fighting on a spaceship is very different from fighting in the capital wasteland. Hopefully Bethesda will pull it off and Zeta will be just as awesome as the rest of Fallout 3.

As i hope most of you have played halowars, and completed all the missions... In the last cintematic you get to see the Spirit of Fire fly off into space, and then End Transmission, but what happens to the crew, and more importantly the spartan team that was onboard? Cause dont they say that Master Chief is the Last Spartan? And were the heck is Chiefs team? Could they have left these questions open for a follow up or are we just gonna have to ponder this for the rest of our lives? Discuss.

finally got halo 3, don't have a 360 so ive been playing on my bros till i get my own... anyway he was being a dick and not letting me on it much, so i only just finished it a few hours ago only to realize i had been playing it on his account >.< so im going to have to redo the entire campaign >.< it really pissed me off lol and i have to say some of those flood lvls are unreal... i think i might actually have fun on legendary unlike halo 2 and i hate forge >.< its so awkward ...

A friend loaned me his copy for the gamecube, and it is definately the best gamecube game I've ever played. It's so violent, I just kill the village leader guy, who is possesed by some weird creature. You light him on fire, and the creature comes halfway out of his back, and it's merged with his spine. When you do enough damage, you shoult his upper torso off, which jumps around with the creature's claws, and climes walls, with blood spurting everywhere.

So recently I got back into Battlefield 2142. This is because of 3 things: Update 1.50 (2 new maps), Outlaw is giving me a copy of BF2, and I managed to fix the crippling lag. My old computer sucked, so it went slow on that. With our new computer, I was running a mod to make it support custom resolutions (1440 X 900) which turned out to screw it up. Surprisingly, now that I don't lag I'm actualy pretty good at it. Anyone else here play?
