PC power cord = Broke

Subject: PC power cord = Broke Thu Nov 12, 2009 5:44 am

The power cable for my laptop is broken.
and my laptop is like 5 years old so it will take a while to replace.
But I will try to get on when I can anyway.

Is it severed or frayed? All you have to do is cut out the broken section and strip both ends of the wire, then solder it back together.

You may be able to fix it without soldering it. If the wire's just bendy and thick enough you may be able to strip it, twist it and wrap it in electrical tape. Or maybe even get one of those electrical cord twisty deals.
