I'm sure that the people here who actually care about this stuff already know what's going on, but I though it deserved a news post.

HaloMods has burned to the ground, and from it's ashes we have two new sites: ModNexus (http://www.modnexus.com), run by SourceGuy, and Rework3d (http://rework3d.com), run by Tural and Detox. ModNexus is a continuation of the old HaloMods, and Rework3d is the site for people who don't like SourceGuy, who is a fascist.

So, what do you guys think? Will either site keep the halo modding sprit alive, or are they doomed to an early death?

Uh... Wait. There are still people modding Halo? Anyone still modding Halo should've grown out of it by now and moved on with their lives. That goes for modding any game. Just PLAY the game if it's made for playing and not for modding. There's a few games that are made to mod (Multi Theft Auto, etc.).

And jsk, I don't see what your problem is. So people should play the default forever? No wonder you get bored with video games. Do something different. Modding is one way to do so.
