I think a version without the black bars and writing would be cool too.

Well usually wallpapers have that stuff on them so that's why I did that.

keep the bar and the "halo" writing, but kill the bungie and halo 3 logos.

The ring is a copy of the first halo ring in halo one. Except when activated, it creates a catastrophic explosion instead of it destroying all life forms. That's due to the fact that it's unfinished. And since master chief like to blow up stuff, he blows up the ring .
