Didn't read them just looked at it on google. Interesting plot, but it's DEFINITELY not the best selection of books. Average at best. Btw, when i heard it had avian-bird people or whatever they are, i thought to myself (no wonder phoenix likes it) lol.

I remember reading the big one in fourth grade b4 all those gay kids were introduced. I liked it a lot! Then i wanted to read the next one and it was about these kids that could turn into animals. Pretty much ruined it for me. :\ lol

No, It's not like animorphs. These kids have wings all the time. Also, half wolf people try to kill them. One of them is a psychic and can possess people. They all have their own special talents, including making explosives
