I've been experimenting with some basic AI programming in Maelstrom, to go along with my epic battle system . The AI that I've made (only allies currently) is supposed to use it's own discretion and avoid enemies and stuff after you give them a general area to move to. Sometimes it works perfectly, and the AI even does kind of cool things that I didn't intend (sending one unit ahead to scout, ect.), but it sometimes randomly runs off the screen and hides from me, even when I order it to move back on .
The AI in maelstrom will never be as advanced as Macsforever's, but once I work on it more it should get the job done.
