I have a new AIM chatroom set up, for those of you that have AIM service. The name is whmtmodschat.

also it can only have the songs that are on the harddrive you synchronize it too,
theres other reasons too
flashdrive(acts like one) mp3 players are way better >.<

iPods are awesome if you have a mac, but itunes does get buggy on PCs... I just love iPods because they are so much fun to hack.

I agree. My iPod is ridiculously buggy. I'm getting a Zune (which has free firmware updates, and a much cooler U.I., and wireless song sharing) instead of a new ipod.

Yes, they do, alot of files just use the ._ prefix which means Mac OS X hides them from your view. This is the same on a Windows OS.

iPods run out of battery way too fast. They also have hardware failures. I think I had two that had hardware failures. I still prefer them to other media players even though they lack in customization.

Actually, the battery life is better than any MP3 player I've seen. The reason for small battery life in iPods is because if you leave it on the charger whenever you aren't using it, the battery tends to get quite a bit of electron decay. This is true with all rechargeable batteries. Also, I've had the same first generation iPod nano for 2 years, and it still works. No failures whatsoever.

Whenever mine failed, they did it within a week or two of when the new ones came out. Conspiracy?
