Should I...

...buy some type of non-retail 360? I'm talking about demo kits, test kits, dev kits, ect. I could probably afford a tricked out dev kit with a sidecar if I really wanted to... the question would be "is it worth it?". The reasons for buying one (in my case) would be to play beta/ unreleased games, get on partner net, mod halo 3, and possibly get involved with some research/ homebrew stuff.

You're not going to get a Dev Kit unless you're a licensed developer. Don't delude yourself.

Same with the others; you're just not going to get those, sadly. And not many people would be willing to sell them third party.

Head over to the Assembler Games forums and you should be able to get a dev fairly quickly.

I'm betting it's a scam. And if it's not, what you're getting won't be quality.

I agree with Paul's post, Devkits usually aren't this easy to obtain.

It's not that they're hard to get... just no one knows where to look.
