Great Job!

I've got a problem.

So, for the past like, 4 months, my computer has been... ugly. Sometimes when I start it up, it says disk load error, and I have to try again. Sometimes, it says please re-install microsoft windows vista. But when I get it started up, my HDD usage goes up to like 100 mb/s.

Only recently did I discover Microsoft's system resource manager, where it displayed my HDD usage.

It turns out that whenever I start up, svchost, a windows services host process, goes through basically every file on my computer. Whenever this happens, once every 5 hours or so ontop of immediately start up, I wait for about 2 minutes and it goes back to normal operating speed.

Any suggestions?

Try starting up in SUM and run the fsck hfs script (Should be listed clearly), then wait 5 minutes and... Oh wait, you're on Windows.

BTW I've called almost every reliable source I know, including the manufacturer, who in the end if it is really broken will completely replace it if broken. THAT is why I didn't build it myself.

But I have thought of every possibility, and a hard drive disk error is the most likely. Only if the hard disk error didn't come back negative.

Here is a list of Possibilities...

-SATA Drive Cable malfunction
-Hard drive read error
-HDD read error
-SATA Port read error
-Windows vista telnet error
- windows vista host process (svchost) error
-VIRUSES... not very likely, I am usually pretty safe, I monitor what i download. Scans run daily.
-Windows vista (in general error)

Just to clarify, there are so many windows vista haters, I do not understand why... If you're not completely retarded, it isn't a problem. Its just that people that purchase macs for a primary, non-gaming machine are generally smarter, but windows vista is much more capable in general. Macs are just people friendly.

Yeah, what people don't get is that Windows is awesome for one group of people, and Macs are awesome to another. It's not about what's better for everyone, it's about what's better for you. People that want to force operating systems on the other group should burn their opinions in a fire and sit in their little corner.

Windows 7 64 bit runs faster on my computer than WinXP 32 bit did. Try upgrading to 64 bit if you haven't already.
