Okay first of all, the music they use in the ending and parts of the begining is frikking epic...i keep returning to it..:
Okay anyhow, ive noticed that the past couple of games ive gotten have not really satisfied me, Just Cause 2, Battlefield Badcompany 2, Fallout 3. But theres been one game that i have been playing through "freakishly" much, Mirrors Edge. So i am drawing the conclusion that since Mirrors Edge there hasnt really been too many good games........Anyone else agree with me?
(Mass Effect 2 is an exception, but they failed on making it playable many times)

Eh, it's based on an opinion. You can't really speak for everyone when it comes to critically opinionated games.

I've never actually played this game ... it always looked kind of interesting but I never got around to it. Story does look cool.

Hmm but what if my opinion was passed on from a higher power, f.ex Obama or Steve Jobs....

Then you should get around to it, getting chased in a fps is frikking awsome! 8though the last 3 chapters are RAELLY frikkin hard if you play it on normal)

Then you're a tool and can't think for yourself. Even though there are some situations where other people's opinions are more valid than yours, the quality of a video game is usually not one of those places. Also Steve Jobs and Obama ≠ Higher powers on video games.

-back to topic- I Haven't played a good game since Sonic The Hedgehog!!!JK
But truthfully I haven't been satisfiedanyone else disturbed by the way that is said? hey I didn't come up with that wording. by any games since the original halomy opinion that's around the time stories became less important in games. Altho there has been great games. e.g. Fallout 3 and etc. None has really satisfied my thirst for an amazing game. And just leaves me returning to older games to clench the thirst. e.g. Homeworld 2, Duke Nukem 3D, Quake II and etc.
oh and DDR: Universe(Dancing stage universe) has been fun, I've started unlocking new songs for it!!! lol

IMO, AAA games today tend to either add a contrived story when it's not necessary or write a bare minimum story (or totally BS story) when it is necessary.
I love "pure" games like Quake and Halo 1, both were perfectly designed in my opinion.

well this is a very "clean" game so to say, i caught me, and it can get on your nerves a bit when you just cant figure out were to run xP
Its a VERY good game, and theres gonna be a sequel though i doubt itll be as good, itll still be a mirrors edge 2, and just the whole feel of running jumping and being chased in first person is wonderful! =D

I don't like the flashy colors, which is one reason that I didn't ever play Mirrors Edge.
