Terminal games

So do any of you huys (who have a UNIX based OS) know about the "emacs" command in terminal? it opens up a whole new world of gaming!

You can play classic games like;
Pong
Tetris

and more! (just havnt found em yet)


Also if any of you know any other cool things you can do with terminal, please share!

depends what commands you have installed to the console.
For example in linux the basic "Xterm" terminal you can install a near limitless amount of comands.
One I had on my old laptop was command "WTF"

which typed in followed by an abbreviation it would list what it stands for, or multiple if it stands for more than one.
So do a search for some you can install or something.

Emacs does a lot more than play Tetris, lol.

As a programmer you have to learn your way around the command line... while I'm no old-school unix geek I do appreciate that console OSes and editors can help productivity.

As for games, I'm a casual Roguelike fan. Not DORF FORT level, but I'll play Angband and stuff like that. I was thinking about writing a little roguelike, but school quickly killed that idea.
