Denmark

So, i currently live in a country were you get to drive scooters at 15, buy alcohol at 16, and join and vote in a national election. But so god help me ,if you are a Danish citizen, fall in love, and marry someone who is not from a country within the European Union you will get banished from the country for six years, and even so, for the person you love to enter the country they must have attended one of the top 20 universities in the world. All except one of those have tuition costs that are outrageous.

This is all thanks to one political party, they have a total of 14,2% of the votes but somehow the are over represented in the danish Parliament. If the get a majority my parents and me will leave Denmark.

What do you guys think, is it right that such a small and racist party gets over represented in Parliament like this?

Just did some research, they sound exactly like the Tea Party! I guess the ability of fringe parties to get into the government is both a positive and a negative aspect of parliamentary systems.

To be honest, I don't know that much about politics in Denmark, but aren't there a variety of parties in your parliament (unlike the united states: Democrat, Republican, and Independent/Non-affiliated)?

Yea, but thats the point, a small assed little racist party has positioned itself so that ALL political decisions depend on what they think!
