Minecraft Server General Rules

General Rules:

1. Be respectful, blah, blah, blah.
2. Demonstrate rational faculties.
3. Chopped down a tree? Remove the leaves and replant it in the same place.
4. Don't chop down trees that have been planted decoratively / sculpted / placed in town near buildings.
5. Do not mar landscape; if you want sand, use postal office.
6. Do not use fire to quickly remove things.
7. Community chests are for the community; personal ones are not. (If it doesn't explicitly say personal, it's probably not.)
8. If you want a plot of land within the immediate vicinity of a town, talk to whomever built it / is the zoning director.
9. Just read number two. That pretty much sums it up.

Also, postal office is second floor of the right tower in the spawn area.

I built most of the town you spawn in, so if you want to add to it, you need my permission and a lot set aside. Keep in mind the rest of the world is more or less fair game.

I have a mine on a snowy island across the channel from the town, its deep, i just struck lava and managed to incinerate myself and most of my things twice -.-

Addendum

1. Do not touch trees near other people's buildings without permission.

2. Try not to cut down trees with snow on top, because the snow won't come back.

3. We now have community chests; do not rifle through private ones. Chests within private structures are private unless otherwise noted.

4. If you need to modify another person's structure, try to notify them or - if possible - compensate in some way.

5. You are responsible for anyone you share the server address with whose not on the forum. It would also be nice if you could help them in anyway, especially if they are new or inexperienced.
