Not much talking going on on the forums atm, so I thought I would post this. Duke Nukem Forever is actually coming out!
Did he just say what I think he did?
Yes he did, and if you were a huge Duke fan like me, you would know that last year the project was picked up by Gearbox and they have been working hard on it(unlike 3D Realms did) and they have released an official release date, May the 3rd!
And all this I have known about for some time, but there's no talk about it here yet so I thought I will start a topic =]
Also I am going to be preorder how about you? (I would have already but only EB Games in NZ are doing preorders atm and they over price all there games, so I am waiting for JB HiFi to start doing preorders.)

Old. Also, after Bad Company 2 (Fun game, but half its original price and much more after 3 months), I don't preorder games.

Anyway Bad Company 2 is just.... a bad bad game.... MP might be a bit fun... But besides that it's just terrible. Edit: Also I created this for the soul purpose of talking about DUKE! don't go off-topic from Duke unless you want to get on my bad side...

I have mixed feelings about a new Duke game... we'll see how much the devs get away with. Hopefully it'll retain the crazy humor, the trailer makes me pretty optimistic.

I agree, the game won't be the same as if it was actually made by 3D Realms, but the trailer looks like Gearbox is doing the series justice.
But even it not being as great as it could be, I still can't wait... It will prove all those people wrong who said it was a waste for me spending 12 years of my life wishing upon shooting stars jk
