this halo 3 photography editing is getting fun..

It's amazing how in 20 minutes, I got from this to this . how ya like it? i'm making it wallpaper size and sig size later.

That's awesome.

I only have like 5 layers in the photoshop.. the bottom one was dodges and burns(and the image of course), the one on top of that was just a gaussian blur which gave it it's shiny effect. The next one was a color balance layer to make it a little more tan, and the final two were both black and white gradient maps (one had an opacity of 60%, and one had an opacity of 30%). Really easy, if you followed what I just said you can probably come up with almost the exact same result.

Just seems to dark/blurry for me.
Dark images are hard to see with my eyes for some reason.

wtf it's bright as the sun.. And yes, it is blurry, but that's to display focus on the action. but dude, why do you think it's dark?

Do you have a back light in your monitor?

Yeh, but my eyes are screwy alot.

you have serious photophop skills... maybe add some particles like in your wallpaper?

I am sorry, I have never used photoshop and probably never will, but was that really that hard? all I see is shading.

It took a while to experiment.. but yes, the process was very simple, as I explained in one of my posts. I wasn't going for much of a change. I just wanted to do as little as possible to have a very good effect.
