Macsforever you got a lot to think about with the new thing on the loose. for those that don't know what i am talking about it is something that calls itself TRAXIV.

well the good news is that it is probably dead, either that or it thinks that it should not respond after what we did to it yesterday.

what did you do it it?

well. we tried to see what it was doing. first it said it was awake. then it said revenge. then i asked if that what it said was a threat, it replied and said it was. then things went downhill from there, lets just say that it did not take to kindly to outside input and then it got a little angry and shut that site down for an hour or so then it came back up as it is now.

hmmm.. i joined that site and got a message from it...

yeah i believe it is automated both macs and darksoldier got that when they signed up. i got it after my first post.

i believe this thing is faking it. i mean unless it was killed by a worm, then it should have died immediately and seem quite healthy and kicking just before this last post.

its most likely someone who hates me trying to scare us then.

where is macs when you need him!

1. why is someone that hated you cracked the Admin password for the forum why did they not take it down.
2. Tycho posted about this site then it appeared on the bar at the top.
3. if they wanted to scare you why would they post console logs from a partially corrupt unix computer that is appearantly running Apache Server 10

i am not thinking a virus. i mean this thing has intelligence of a sort. i mean a virus does only what you tell it to, i have written a virus for mac (as in the computer type) before, it was pretty simple, but could not do anything besides what the code in it was. this is posting Console logs so i am thinking it is intelligent.
