Rosario+ Vampire

Recently I've been reading a manga called Rosario+ Vampire. I would describe it as a mix of Hellsing and Harry Potter, without all the dumb characters like Ron and Ceres

I've heard of it before... I'll have to look into it! Is it any good?

I just lost all respect I may have had for your manga choosing skills...

Anyways, I said I read the manga not watched the anime.

I've flipped through it... it looks like a crappy love story, with a few cute female "monsters" added in.

The beginning sucks... towards the end of the first season, they're fighting demonic terrorist cells, etc.

Good lord she licked his cheek.

a few overly bloody fight scenes doesn't fix a broken story-line.

nothing does. that's why death note was so good. because they kept the story line and added the bloody meshmesh scenes,

The fight scenes in death note are awesome because they are so few and far between... and when they come they're shockingly awesome.

Come on guys, gratuitous violence is timeless. You guys are harsh.

Shit. I just lost faith in the anime. It was always mediocre, but they ruined it. There was a arc in the manga where a nurse at a hospital is a serial killer and has the ability to posess people, and she kills ~80 people / turns them into zombies, and tries to make Moka stab Tsukune (which she does, but it dosn't kill him). However, in the anime episode, she "feeds off the negative energy of others", and dosn't inject people with a liquid to possess them a la Resident Evil 4. I used to think that the anime had potential to be good, but now they ruined it. I doubt they'll even run the arc where Tsukune becomes a ghoul.

The first anime DVD I ever bought. It is vashtly superior to half of the crap that comes out today.

No, you don't. You need something with a good story that is not all about violence. Try watching Serial experiments lain or something like that. Or, if you want extreme disturbing violence and a good story, go watch Higurashi no naku koro ni (but don't let your parents see it 0_o.

Psst *Watch Elfen Lied* Those other two shows are too heady and demand too much of your brain, which could otherwise be put to better use like concentrating the nudity the plot development.
