Best Game of 08-Early09

List what game you think was/will be the best that came out in the year 2008 or soon to come out next year (by March 1, 2009)

Personally, I think the best game that came out in 2008 (I'm a Gears Fan, what else can I Say).

Halo 3 Recon for the win. That, and possibly a Marathon : The Chilron demo.

Whatever vague information that I drop about End of the World Party: Maelstrom will be the best videogame related thing this year, or any year ever.

Other than that, Fallout 3.

Left 4 Dead. I preordered it after playing the demo. I played the first demo level twice, and it was completely different, with different weapon locations, different weapons, different bosses and enemy locations. It is amazing throwing a Molotov coktail, and finishing off your enemies with duel elites with infinite ammo .

There's nothing quite like hiding in a bathtub with 4 friends while screaming at each other over voice chat when a massive steroid zombie smashes through the wall, and everyone throws molotovs and pipebombs .

Holy piss, I just played the Left4Dead demo on XB360, I am so buying that fauking game.

I'm not sure about the Xbox version, but it is fucking epic for the pc. The demo only had two out of twenty maps and nine out of ten guns (If you count double pistols as a gun in addition to single pistol). What do you think the last weapon(s) will be? I'm guessing chainsaw, flamethrower, or grenade launcher.

Chainsawing zombies on GMod has me satisfied for now.

Arright, I admit Left 4 Dead is pretty fun. But I dunno, would I pay sixty dollars for it?

Probably not. I'll see if I can get it for teh chrismass.

and thats why we play it on the pc, its only 49.99 and well worth it. I don't even have it yet and i know from the demo and the 20+ videos that i have watched about it that it will be freaking awsome. And i agree, nothing like hiding in a bathtub from a gigantic zombie on roids yelling over voice chat to "get ready". And of course there is nothing like abandoning your buddy to get mauled by the same roid zombie while you escape to the not-so-safe room and hiding in the bathroom on top of a toilet and having the zombie burn to death right outside of the door....good times.

Kay the 10 most epic games this year (my own opinion)

is

1. Fallout 3 (u can play it forever!)

2. Prince of Persia ( a bit of a change from all the blood and murder)

3.GTA4 (just epicly fun)

4. Left 4 Dead (Wonderful gameplay and fun multiplayer when the zombie co-ordinate thier attacks)

5.Gears of War 2 (im not a super fan of it but heck u cant say u dont like chainsawing aliens to pieces xD)

6.Sauerbraten CTF version (cause it lets out the inner artist)

7.Project gotham 4 (its good to get some speed in the middle of all the gore)

8.RainbowSix Vegas 2 (it rounds up the first one and it gives u some nervrecking tactics lessons)

9. Ace Combat 6 (Airplane games never cease to wonder me!)

10. Farcry 2 (aint it always fun to run around with guns a shoot! too bad they took out the multiplayer mode though)

LOL, L4D was number 4. Also, I'm not sure about the 360, but I know the PC version of FC2 has multiplayer.
