Some of the questions were a bit obscure, Macs. Like "You use a PPF to make a skin." Are you asking if you create a skin using PPFMaster or PPF-o-matic or if you create a patch for a skin using those aforementioned applications?

The PPF is more widely used than other patches.

Weren't PPFs originally used for ps2 modding?

i never use ppfs, almost no one who mods halo, and halo 2 xbox uses ppf's
i got cruddy modder from it, is it just based on computer modding?

You obviously don't know what you just typed, PPFs can be used for anything.

i know what you mean, but i know no one who mods xbox halo that uses ppf patchs
and i also do not use them, for they seem to became to big for the maps i mod, and so i use patchs that hold more data and are smaller in size, such as sppfs and serenity

i still remeber some of it!

PPFs can be used for full blown engine patches or even OS ROM updates, and that's why they're the most widely used.

I know next to nothing about xbox modding
