Halo Combat Evolved Released today!!

I know what you "may" have been thinking when you clicked this link. "What? Is he insane? We have been modding halo 1 for years and halo 3 has been out for months! Why is he saying it's released today?" Or if you're smart and on top of things (and/or own xbox live) you would know that halo combat evolved was released today for xbox live arcade. I will probably get this but at the same time I will choose not to buy the new halo 3 maps that are coming out, because I can always wait for those to be free. Is anybody else who has xbla gonna download it?

NOTICE: Unfortunately, unlike several other xbla games, this one will not be for online play. It would be awesome to play it with other people just like we do on the pc/mac, but they only offer split screen multiplayer for the game.

I didn't really take the time to read that long and usless story that you wrote, but did you get it? And also do you think they will release it on steam? Or is it just for 360?

Um I'm only on a couple days a week. And above, I just basically repeated myself a little bit but for those with smaller attention spans I understand how little time you have to read one paragraph. I also mentioned below that it won't be for online play. Split screen is the only multiplayer option.

I bought the game today and it owns.

There aren't any glitches as I've seen so far. I've been playing normal mode and so far i'm almost at truth and recon.

The game is much improved since the PC and Xbox game. Master chief and cortana look a lot better, and so do the other characters as well. Sgt. Johnson also gives a different pep talk on the first level with his squad. 0_o

mmmkay... maybe i'll get it for christmas..

I already beat it, with some help on Co-Op with my friends of course (Damn RL flood!).
