Ok people, this will be the WHMT's new mod. Basically what it is is a complete mod of halo. We're going to change every weapon in every map. With out further random shit, heres what I need:
A skinner
A model injector
A AI maker
A weapons editor
Someone who can make PPFs (i still can't )
A general editor
A sparkeditor (the MAC version of sparkedit)
A hex editor
Ok, here's what we're going to do:
1. Rip models from quake (done)
2. Acquire models to use for weapons that do not have a quake counter part (done)
3. Resize and edit the models so they work in halo (I'm working on this, with the help of ††KA††kill him--> from halo heaven)
4. Inject the models into halo. We'll have a new model for every weapon, and a couple of power-ups.
5. Skin everything. That means the weapons, the terrain, pretty much every bitmap. I have the original quake textures for the terrain and weapons for reference.
6. Import AI to the maps, and give them the model of a enforcer from quake.
7. Edit the weapons to act like quake's weapons.
8. Edit the MC biped to act like the quake marine.
9. Hex the point of view to be like quake's.If you don't know what that is, its the weapons at the center of the screen at the bottom.
10. Sparkedit around with the maps to make them feel more like quake.
11. Make AI spawn in the level. (not in vehicles)
MMmmmkay, I think that thats it. I want to build this mod in an orderly fashion (lol) so heres how that is going to work.
1. Post here with what you want to do (any of the "jobs" from above)
2. I'll send you what you need, be it models, textures, or what ever.
3. You send me back the map and i give it to the next person.
Ok, got it? Now a rule. THIS MOD WILL BE MADE COMPLETELY ON A MAC! That means no CE tags or anything.
The first map we will be modding is Blood Gulch (duh).
I think the first job we get done should be injecting the models. I'm almost done editing and resizing them, so if you want to be the model injector I'll send you the map.
Oh yeah, one more thing. If you can't mod PLEASE don't post here.

models? oh wait they're ripped.. ok i can't help at all then.. man do u know how to rip them and put the tags in properly? if you really need somebody to remake the models i can do it on my own time.

no i already ripped the models from quake, they're in .obj format. So i just need some one to inject them into halo.
EDIT - *has great idea* actually, how bout I send you the quake models to edit, jsk? 'cause the way the the quake engine uses models is way different than halo so they need some fixing up. Like I said, ††KA††kill him--> already sort of fixed the models, but they're still way (way) to big.

not really, I have plenty of mods to release, I just dont have internet fast enough to upload stuff, but on my new mod, I'm gonna take all the time I need & I will release, anyway, lets not turn it into a 2 way conversation, so the topic of whos doing weapens dies here ok, if theres something I can't do, you can do it

I used to know how to inject models. I made a tutorial a long time ago which was one of the first used one in 06. But I have no clue how to do it now, nor do i have obj converter or hmt.
