on that note is EVGA GeForce 8600 GT / 256MB GDDR3 / SLI Ready / PCI Express / DL Dual DVI / HDTV / Video Card any good?

awesome, but i would not buy it if you are only going to get one. The only reason people buy it is because it is the worst graphics card that can handle dual sli mode and directX 10. But, I have a question. Evga, you said, sells Nvidia's products. They dont manufacture them. And also only get the GTX or GTS. Don't get the GT. Just plain stupid because it cant handle shit. There is a big difference between them.

or you could do what i did and get a cheap processor and a amazing graphics card to make up for it.

Your combination of an amazingly crappy processor and a good graphics card actually seemed to work pretty well. But btw, the 9600 costs 3 USD less than the 8600, but it is a lot better.

meh my processor cost $200 and the graphics card cost around $500.

looks cool, but why the hell are you getting two optical drives? just get one good one instead of one ok one and one really good one.

Nah he'll probably let me order it, i have enough money.
But the optical drive thing costs more if you buy one that has the capabilities of two.

Also look at the graphics cards.
