You guys have it all wrong. Obama is an alien disguised as a black Muslim human, he has come to earth to start a nuclear war. Once all of the bombs are dropped, there will be nothing left on the surface but radiation and fire. So yeah, Obama escapes on a super secret trip to the ISS, and then his alien buddies come and pick him up. Once they're like "o hai how waz ur trip <3 xoxoxoxo", they go down to the surface and terraform the planet removing all the fire and radiation and turn it into an alien-fit planet just right for the alien race.
