Maelstrom Development

Here is where I will post updates in the making of Maelstrom.

4/09/07 - Offical start of making episode one! I am working on importing sprites for the game and building the characters and baddies that you will encounter in episode 1.

4/12/07 - Offical release date of Episode One is........ as soon as I finish ripping Azu Manga Daio, Full Metal Panic, and Love Hina to my iPod. (could be a while )

10/27/07 - Mmmkay, I decided to add a arena and an arcade to all of the major citys in my game (yes, i've been playing oblivion) How this will work is you will go into the arena, select a tier (1-10) and then have to battle a character in that tier. If you win you get gold and other yummblies.

With the arcade, you walk in and depending on which arcade you are in you have a arcade master to challange. To get money you just play and win different games, and to get the jackpot you beat the arcade master's score.

BTW i almost forgot, arcade masters and arena opponents will all be WHMT members, crappy tier 1 characters will be the people who never posted, and really hard tier 10 characters will be people like macsforever and ahr2nd.

11/03/07- ZOMFG I actually updated this?! WOW!

Mmmmmkay, I HATE ANIMATING! And you would too if you had to create every single frame in an animation, and then write the code so that the sprite flips to the right frame at the right time. But, after like, 4 hours of work, I finished animating the main character. I. AM. GOD.

still 11/03/07- RAWR! my animation code somehow broke the rest of the game. I guess everyone will have to make do with no animations.

Yo Sam, invite me over to ur house one afternoon and i'll bring over that video game we never played at ur birthday, don't worry it isn't violent it's like roller skating in the near future (not hover shit) still mad fun. Also you could teach me how to modd a bit and i could start to help you on projects. You'd be surprised what i could do if i learned. And im pretty sure that pc's can use programs and such like that, or i could at least help you with sprites if you could teach me. xD PLZZNESSIZZLES!!!!111!!!!!1!

Talk to ya at school to discuss it. Just wanna help u finish ur games faster and gain some skills in the process and mostly have fun.

BIG UPDATE!!!!

11/10/07 - I added a little character customization! In the begining of the game, you can name your character and select a armor color! YAY that took me a really long time do do so WORSHIP ME!!!!!

*worships hampsta for hours*
